  1. HoneyBook Integration

    We heard you loud and clear, HoneyBook users! You’ve been eager for a direct integration between Flodesk and your favorite client relationship management platform (CRM), HoneyBook—and now, it’s here!

     

    Here's what's new

    • Flodesk members with a HoneyBook Essentials or Premium plan can now directly connect HoneyBook and Flodesk, making it easier than ever to save time and money, elevate your customer experience, and take your marketing strategy to the next level.
    • In HoneyBook’s new automation builder, you can choose Flodesk as an action. This allows you to choose when in your client journey you send their information to Flodesk, and which segments they are added to.

  2. Apple Pay and Google Pay in Checkout

    New Feature

    For our Checkout users who are using a Stripe standard account, Apple Pay and Google Pay are now available for customers to select in your checkout!

     

    Here's what's new

    • Apple Pay and Google Pay payment options are now available for Checkout users.
    • If you are using a Stripe standard account, these payment options will automatically be enabled. If you’re still using a Stripe express account, upgrade your account to unlock this new feature!
    • These payment options can be deactivated in your Stripe settings

  3. Stripe Standard Connect

    New Feature

    In December 2024, Flodesk Checkout will begin using Stripe Standard Connect.

     

    What this means for you:

    • Existing Flodesk Checkout merchants will be notified to update their Stripe account from Stripe Express to Stripe Standard.
    • Once connected, all existing checkouts will begin processing with Stripe Standard account - no additional action is needed.
    • New to checkout? No problem! All new Flodesk Checkout merchants will be setup on a Stripe Standard Connect account.
    • The best part - by migrating to this version of Stripe, you’ll have access to payout flexibility and exciting new features coming in 2025 (like sales tax, payment plans and more!)

     

    To migrate to Stripe Standard (for existing Checkout users):

    • Click the “Update Now” button on the banner notification OR go to Checkout setup in the top right menu of Flodesk
    • Follow the on-screen prompts

  4. New Instagram API (Action Required)

    Announcement

    On December 4, 2024, Meta will stop supporting the Instagram Basic Display API, which powers many online services, including our Instagram feed block in Flodesk.

     

    What this means for you:

    • After Dec. 4, only public Business and Creator accounts on Instagram will be able to display an Instagram feed in Flodesk emails
    • Business and Creator accounts will need to reauthorize their Instagram accounts within Flodesk
    • Personal Instagram accounts will no longer be supported for feed display and need to be reauthorized with a Business or Creator account

     

    To continue displaying your feed in Flodesk emails

  5. Preview Workflows and Workflow Emails without Pausing

    New Feature

    You asked, we delivered - now you can easily preview a workflow in one click and preview an email in a workflow without pausing it!

     

    Here's what's new

    • On your workflows page, you can find a new preview option in the menu. Just click on the three dots to see it! This allows you to easily review your workflow without pausing it.
    • Once in the workflow, you will see a “preview” button when you hover over an email. This allows you to review the full email without pausing the workflow!

    Set up successful workflows in minutes with our five new workflow templates! These templates keep you connected with subscribers at crucial points—just plug in your brand details, sit back and watch the magic happen.

     

    Here's what's new

    • Five new workflow templates are available: including a multi-day sale, a follow-up sequence, registration confirmation, referral program sequence, and a subscriber re-engagement sequence.
    • Access the new templates by clicking “+ New Workflow”
    • One you’ve added the workflow - customize the emails and steps to accomplish your automation goals!

  7. Product Limits in Checkout

    Have an offer with limited availability? You’re in luck—product limits in checkout are here!

     

    Here's what's new

    • “Limit quantity,” “end date” and “allow waitlist” toggles are available in the product settings tab in checkout
    • Limit how much of your main product or service you can sell, either by quantity and/or by date
    • Sold out? No problem! You can introduce a waitlist once your product limit has been reached. Buyers who missed your offer can join your waitlist segment.
    • Freely add or remove limitations to existing checkouts at any time
    • Receive email alerts notifying you of low inventory or an approaching end date

  8. Poll Blocks for Emails

    Big news: Polls are now available in the email builder! Engage subscribers and refine segments with one of our most-requested features.

     

    Here's what's new

    • Polls are now available in the email builder
    • Add up to 12 options for responses
    • Customize the poll’s colors, fonts and style
    • When a subscriber clicks an answer, the current poll results will appear in a new window
    • Connect poll answers to a segment or custom field
    • Poll results can be found and exported into a csv file in your email analytics

  9. Spinner Forms

    We love giving you new ways to interact with your audience and in turn, increase subscriber growth. For our second new type of forms, we’d like to introduce: spinner forms!

     

    Here's what's new

    • Spinner forms are available as a pop-up form type.
    • You can customize your spinner by choosing a spinner layout and adjusting the style, colors and results of each of the three slice options.
    • You choose which reward is the winning offer, and your visitors will land on that reward every time..
    • Your audience will opt-in to spin the wheel. After they’ve successfully opted-in, the wheel will spin and the code will be displayed..

  10. Shareable Form Templates

    New Feature

    Say hello to shareable forms!

    Here's what's new

    • Paid Flodesk members are now able to share a form as a template with other Flodesk members via a unique template link
    • The shareable template link can be created from the menu of the form card
    • Shareable links can be disabled at any time
    • A new template preview page will allow receivers to preview the template and then copy it into their Flodesk account, which will open up the form in the builder as a new form
    • If the receiver is not a Flodesk member, they’ll be taken to the affiliate sign up page of the sharer and be required to sign up to copy the template as an form draft
