Don't include unsubscribed in total subscriber numbers
It's really discouraging when Flodesk reminds me of how many people have unsubscribed from my list. This happens when I see the total (either for my whole list or for a segment) as one number and then see a lower number when I actually go to send an email. This seems completely pointless (I don't need to know the number that includes unsubscribes)! Please change it so that I only see the number of active subscribers (both in "you got a new subscriber" emails and in the totals that show for segments, etc.).

Ability to send automated birthday greetings
I'd love to create a system where an email gets sent automatically based on the subscribers birthday and be able to customize the email for them to choose a gift š

Track Your Most Engaged Emails with Read, Reread, and Click Metrics
Iād love to request a feature that allows me to easily identify my best-performing emails in Flodesk, including the ability to see which emails have been read, reread, and clicked the most, to better understand engagement patterns.

I don't need to explain why this is useful, can this be implemented this week

Ability to see how long people are reading emails
It'd be good to know who's simply opening emails and scanning VS the people who are taking the time to actually read the content. If someone is spending 3 seconds reading my email, I know they're not actually engaged.

Tiered Membership Pricing / Newsletter Subscriber Option
A way for audience to subscribe monthly for a small fee or to be able differentiate between your paid newsletter members and not. Maybe certain gifts or offerings are only available for paid members, etc. While platforms like substack are mainly for writers, Flodesk leans more toward "Creatives" who may also like to write ALONG with having proper aesthetics. I utilize flodesk for writing but with a creative look and that balance is important!

Embed a voice note in an email
I would love to be able to offer an audio version of my newsletter - or simply a friendly welcome message - that can be played IN the email itself, rather than having to link to another page where the audio is hosted.

Edit favorited emails
Please allow us to EDIT email templates from the "My Favorites" section. Right now, in order to make a small change, I have to use the email, edit it, resave it, and delete the old template š„“ It should be simple to edit a template and reuse it! Thanks!

Include Subject Line In Email Analytics Data Export
When we export email analytics data, would love to see a column with the subject line of that email too. Super helpful for comparing open rates and identifying subject lines that get the most opens rather than having to manually match them up

Know details about unsubscribes
Not names or email addresses, but I'd like to know how long they were a subscriber before unsubscribing and how engaged they were before unsubscribing. This would help me know if this was a problem at the front end (they didn't understand what they were signing up for), or if they just decided they weren't engaged enough with the emails to continue as a subscriber, etc.

View link clicks as a heat map
I'd love to see my link clicks overlaid on the actual email as a heat map so that I can tell exactly what's getting clicks. As it is now, I can see what people are clicking links to, but it's not possible to tell whether they're attracted to links more as buttons, within the text, or images. I'd like to know what gets more clicks when the destination is the same.
